Quick Case

Overview
An internal operational platform designed to support business workflows and process management within organizations. The system integrates multiple operational tools into a single interface, allowing teams to manage tasks, monitor performance, and coordinate workflows across departments. The product focuses on structuring complex operational processes and improving visibility into internal business activities.
My role:
Product Designer responsible for research, interaction design, and redesign of analytical workflows.
domain:
Oil & Gas production
Format:
Web app (B2B SaaS)
Teammates:
PM, Backend, Frontend, QA
Problem
Engineers needed to analyze production data across multiple wells, reservoirs, and calculation models.
However, the system relied on fragmented tables and complex filtering, making it difficult to compare wells, detect trends, and generate reports efficiently.
This slowed down analytical workflows and increased the time required to make operational decisions.

Key results
Key improvements included:
Redesigned the analytical workspace to improve how users explore and interpret production data. The redesign allowed engineers to analyze production data faster and generate insights without switching between multiple tools.
Solution
– structured filtering for wells, reservoirs, and calculation parameters
– interactive charts for comparing production trends
– improved table layouts for large datasets
– clearer navigation for switching between analytics views
